CEO Thomas Bliss was a volunteer with the American Red Cross FAST service (First Aid Station Team) before the FAST shutdown in 2014. Thomas along with the ARC-FAST members had the privilege of providing event EMS to hundreds of clients throughout the Pacific Northwest.

NWFA could not operate effectively without robust communications with its team members in the field, and event management staff. Our Strategic Planning Director Michael Fearnehough, a veteran of FEMA, is our comms specialist and Incident Commander. Should you require comms for your event, and are seeking advice; Michael will be happy to assist you.
Will your event staff know how to respond to a medical emergency? Assessment of a possible medical emergency is vital to a successful response. Knowing when to call the Event EMS Team, or calling 911 is as important as any other element of your planning. Northwest First Aid can provide your team with the knowledge and skills to make an accurate assessment of a possible medical emergency even if NWFA is not providing a team or station. If you desire to hold a pre-event first aid briefing let us know. Depending on the size of your event and number of staff; briefings are typically between 20-40 minutes and start at $199.00 not including mileage.
