What Class Do I Need?

Basic First Aid with CPR/AED training is the most common. There are many names for basic first aid classes depending on the provider. All of our programs from American Heart Association, The American Red Cross & ASHI have “Basic First.” All of our classes are USCG, Labor & Industries and OSHA approved courses.
Choosing a provider is usually a matter of preference, or one that it is mandated by your employer, or school. Example: Most dental professionals take the AHA-BLS course. Please check with your employer or educational facility before registering for a class.
Most of our training happens at the employers site. We do offer open enrollment classes in Gig Harbor & Bremerton, Sequim & Port Townsend.

ASHI’s resuscitation programs conform to national standards and are based on the same scientific guidelines and treatment recommendations found in the 2010 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Science with Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR), the same as those used by the American Heart Association (AHA) and American Red Cross (ARC) for course development.

All professional resuscitation programs meet the requirements of the Joint Commission and the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Services. Approved by OSHA, Labor & Industries and The United States Coast Guard.
